A step-by-step guide to creating your account and configuring your profile for a seamless experience.

Ready to begin your journey with Awashop? Setting up your account is quick and straightforward. Just follow these simple steps to get started:

Step 1: Sign Up

  1. Visit our website at www.awashop.ng

    1. Click the "Sign Up" button at the homepage's top right corner.

  2. Or Download the Awashop App from the Apple Store or Google Play Store.

    1. Read the introduction slide and Click on the "Sign Up" button

  3. Fill out the registration form with your name, email address, and desired password.

  4. Review and accept our Terms and Conditions.

  5. Complete the process by clicking "Sign Up".

Step 2: Verify Your Email

  • After signing up, check your inbox for a verification email titled "Verification Message from Awashop". Please check your spam folder or contact our support team if you don't see it.

  • Open the email and use the provided one-time password(OTP) to confirm your email address and activate your account.

Step 3: Set Up Your Business Profile

  • Once your account is activated, log in with your registered email and password.

  • You’ll be prompted to submit your business information—since Awashop is designed for business owners, this step is essential.

  • Provide additional details, like your contact information or business name, and upload a profile picture if desired.

  • Click "Save" to update your profile.

Step 4: Add Your Products

  • Click on Create Product

  • Add images of your product.

  • Select the "Default" Category or create categories for your products.

  • Add descriptions, prices, and other relevant product details.

  • Add the quantity of products you have in stock

  • If your product has variants

    • Add variants for each colour or size and set prices for them.

  • Click "Save" to save the product

Step 5: Verify Your Identity

  • Submit your NIN, Driver’s License, or any other available means of identification in the form provided.

  • Our technology automatically crosschecks the information you provided in your account setup against the data we get from your identity document provided.

  • If everything is in order, your account will be verified automatically.

    If there are any issues with your verification, a team member will contact you to request additional information.

Step 6: Request to Go Live

  • Once you’ve completed the steps above, request to go live.

  • We review and approve businesses within 2 hours, so your e-commerce store can run quickly.
